About the role
We’re hiring an Accountant to handle a wide range of finance-related responsibilities across the business.
This role goes beyond basic bookkeeping. You’ll own day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, support leadership with clear reporting, and help keep the business financially organized, compliant, and scalable as we grow.
You’ll work closely with clients, staff, leadership and operations, touching everything from reconciliations and reporting to AR/AP, payroll coordination, process improvements and general inquiries. If numbers don’t tie out, you don’t ignore it; you dig in and resolve it.
This is a trust-heavy role. We’re looking for someone who takes responsibility seriously and cares deeply about getting things right.
What you'll do
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records across all accounts
- Handle monthly close activities, reconciliations, and variance checks
- Manage AR, AP, invoicing, collections tracking, and vendor payments
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate allocation of expenses
- Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow updates, and summaries for leadership
- Review transactions for accuracy, consistency, and proper categorization
- Maintain clean books in Xero/QuickBooks (or similar accounting systems)
- Identify discrepancies, flag issues early, and resolve them proactively
- Improve accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls over time
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc finance requests as needed

What we're looking for
- 5+ years of accounting
- Strong working knowledge of Xero/QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms
- Experience with reconciliations, AR/AP, and monthly close processes
- Proficiency in Excel
- High attention to detail and strong judgment
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting growing or founder-led companies is a plus
- Strong Client and Staff Relationship Management
- Experience in Financial Modeling is not a requirement but a plus
