General Role Description

Bridgeway Academy is seeking a student focused Academic Advisor to support families through a personalized learning experience. The Advisor builds strong relationships, guides course planning, and ensures each student thrives academically and personally. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support onboarding and provide ongoing advising to students and families. 
• Build trusted relationships and guide individualized course planning and goal setting. 
• Maintain communication, record-keeping, and exemplary service aligned with Bridgeway’s Standards of Excellence. 
• Partner with caregivers as co-educators and contribute to enrollment and community engagement. 
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including NCAA and accreditation standards. 

Requirements

• 1+ year in academic advising, homeschool support, educational counseling, or related fields. 
• Required clearances: FBI, Child Abuse, and State. 
• Online learning experience preferred. 
•  You must reside in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Virginia.  

Skills 

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. 
• Ability to build rapport with families from diverse backgrounds. 
• Critical thinking, adaptability, attention to detail, and independent work style. 
• Comfort with management systems, LMS platforms, digital tools, and record-keeping.
