About the project
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer (React, Node.JS & C#), you will join the Tax Provision 2.0 (TP2.0) product team to build and maintain a modern, cloud-native platform supporting complex corporate tax calculations across a polyglot, multi-repo ecosystem spanning React microfrontends, TypeScript serverless APIs, C# shared libraries, and AWS infrastructure, actively leveraging AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery and engineering productivity.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain features across the TP2.0 platform — from React microfrontend screens to TypeScript serverless Lambdas and Fastify services.
- Contribute to the shared @btas/btas-tax-provision-business-rules TypeScript library consumed by both frontend and backend, including its C# code-generation pipeline.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and E2E tests using Jest, Playwright, and K6.
- Develop and deploy infrastructure changes using Terraform targeting AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Secrets Manager).
- Participate in GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance, including security scanning and Terraform deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams to evolve async job patterns (imports, report generation), calculation service APIs, and data layer abstractions.
- Use AI coding assistants effectively — writing precise prompts, reviewing AI-generated code critically, and applying outputs productively within a large existing codebase.
- Maintain and improve the legacy ASP.NET Framework 4.7.2 application as needed during migration.
What makes you a great fit 🎯
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with Strong TypeScript/JavaScript (Node 18).
- Proficiency with React 18 and modern React patterns (hooks, context, query management).
- Working knowledge of C# / .NET (ideally both modern .NET 10 and legacy .NET Framework 4.7.2).
- Experience working with AWS Lambda and API Gateway (serverless handlers via AWS SAM / CloudFormation).
- Experience working with Fastify (v5). Building RESTful APIs with TypeBox schema validation and Swagger documentation.
- Strong experience working with PostgreSQL (schema management, query optimization, TypeORM migrations).
- Microfrontend architecture. Experience with single-spa or similar composition patterns.
- Experience with MobX / MobX-State-Tree and TanStack React Query for state and server state management.
- Experience working with Terraform (writing and maintaining AWS infrastructure modules).
- Experience working with Docker / Docker Compose (local development stacks).
- Familiarity working with GitLab CI/CD (pipeline authoring, shared templates, environment management).
- Experience working with Jest (unit + integration), Playwright (E2E), K6 (load/performance).
- Hands-on experience with one or more AI coding tools: Cursor, GitHub, Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent.
- Ability to use AI assistants effectively within a large, multi-repo codebase (including context management, prompt engineering, and critically evaluating generated output).
- Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
