Youth Law Center

The fellow will advocate for increased access to public benefits for transition-aged youth impacted by child welfare and juvenile justice systems in California. This includes collaborating with California's legal services network and developing a fellowship proposal for public benefits advocacy.

The attorney will drive advocacy efforts for youth in foster care and juvenile justice systems through litigation, policy reform, and technical assistance. They will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address systemic issues including education, mental health, and the impact of technology on youth.
