The UM Nurse partners with interdisciplinary teams to optimize the use of healthcare resources and ensure alignment with regulatory standards. They serve as a clinical advisor to support timely transitions of care and improve patient outcomes.

Maintain the integrity and accuracy of patient medical records by resolving duplicate records and performing encounter merges. Collaborate with IT and clinical staff to improve EMR workflows and ensure seamless information management across the healthcare system.

The Lead Coder serves as a subject matter expert and liaison between coding staff and management to ensure accurate coding of professional services. Responsibilities include reviewing complex cases, assigning correct diagnosis and procedure codes, and identifying opportunities for documentation improvement.
