Perform on-site electrical distribution system evaluations and arc flash risk assessment calculations for clients. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to lead process improvements and provide internal training on arc flash safety.
Plan and coordinate all commissioning activities for utility substation protection, control, and power circuits. Provide oversight of contractors and perform detailed troubleshooting and risk assessments for high-voltage equipment.
Perform field testing of microprocessor relays and current transformers. Develop relay testing routines and conduct functional testing of substation control circuits.
Lead a team in the assembly, testing, repair, and maintenance of transformers and substation apparatus. Manage oil processing operations and provide technical support to sales and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform field testing on various electrical equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, cables, and relays. The role requires significant travel (50%+) to various sites across the US.
