Assist Federal staff with research, data collection, and the preparation of ESA section 7 consultation documents including biological opinions. Support the consultation process by reviewing scientific literature and coordinating with Federal agencies and applicants.
The professional will draft and edit ESA and NEPA effects evaluation documents for tribal hatchery deferred maintenance activities. They will also perform technical reviews, ensure quality assurance, and respond to comments from NMFS, co-managers, and the public.
