The teacher will provide specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities through resource room, inclusion, or pullout services. They are also responsible for participating in professional development focused on special education curriculum and data tracking tools.

Provide instructional and behavioral support to K-12 students based on their Individual Education Plans (IEP) or 504 plans. Assist the special education team with compliance documentation and attend professional development and IEP meetings.

The role involves providing mandated group and individual counseling sessions and classroom support for special education students, including monitoring IEP goals and participating in IEP meetings. Responsibilities also include conducting psychosocial and functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and offering crisis intervention services.
