I am a Civil Engineer with two years of experience in the tender department of SICIM S.p.A., an international EPC contractor. I specialise in civil quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Material Take-Offs (MTO) and resource-based cost estimates. My experience covers complete civil scopes for buildings, foundations, roads, drainage and external utilities. I calculate quantities from tender drawings and specifications, including earthworks, concrete, reinforcement, formwork, structural steel, protective coatings and architectural finishes. I have prepared building quantities from foundations through floors, walls, ceilings, roofs and finishes. I have also developed job-pack estimates by determining crew composition, equipment requirements and work durations using established company rates, including mobilisation and demobilisation costs. I worked with proposal, planning and site engineers to clarify assumptions and explain calculations. My procurement experience includes supplier RFQ correspondence and compiling quotation comparison tables for commercial review. I use Excel for quantity and cost calculations, Word and Outlook for documentation and correspondence, and have basic AutoCAD skills. I am seeking a long-term, full-time remote contract in construction estimating, civil estimating or quantity take-offs.
