Ziad Khaled

I’m a Backend-focused Full-Stack Engineer with 2 years of hands-on experience building and shipping web applications using Node.js, Express.js, React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and MongoDB. My experience covers both backend and frontend development, with a stronger focus on backend systems, APIs, authentication, databases, and third-party integrations. Two achievements I’m particularly proud of are my work on a production Web3 platform where I worked as the sole backend engineer, building and maintaining 70+ REST APIs and 13+ MongoDB models. The system included authentication and RBAC, KYC, payment integrations, notifications, and multiple third-party services. Another important project was transforming an existing single-client restaurant application into a multi-tenant SaaS platform, including the backend changes required to support multiple businesses while maintaining tenant isolation. For my next remote role, I’m open to opportunities where I can contribute as a Backend Engineer, Full-Stack MERN Engineer, or React-focused Frontend Engineer. I’m comfortable considering full-time, contract, or freelance opportunities. I’m particularly interested in teams where I can take ownership of real features, work on production systems, and continue growing through practical engineering challenges.
