Youssef Halabi

I am a Construction Engineering graduate with 7 years of experience as an Environmental Consultant, currently transitioning into software development. Throughout my consulting career, I worked on projects across different sectors and developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which I now apply to building software solutions. My main programming language is Python, and I have been learning web development using Flask. My biggest project so far has been building and deploying a website that provides practical tools for users, including a PDF merger, a file organizer, and an Excel cleanup tool. Through this project, I gained hands-on experience with Python, Flask, HTML, Git/GitHub, file processing, and deploying applications using Railway. The website was developed and tested locally before being successfully deployed and made publicly available online. I am looking for an entry-level remote Python or web development role where I can continue developing my technical skills while contributing to meaningful projects. What attracts me most to software development is the ability to create products that solve specific problems and provide real value to users.
