I'm a Senior DevOps Engineer, currently working at Madison Logic. I focus on AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), CI/CD automation, and observability - basically building and running the platform that lets engineering teams deploy reliably and safely. For how long: I have 6 years of hands-on DevOps experience. Two things I achieved: 1) I designed and built a production-grade Amazon EKS platform from scratch in about 3 months, migrating our workloads off ECS. This included Terraform modules for infrastructure, a full GitOps pipeline with GitLab CI + ArgoCD, and Helm-based deployments - enabling 30+ developers to self-deploy across 40+ microservices, and cutting deployment time from 30 minutes to 10. 2) I drove platform cost optimization and reliability improvements - including automating Terraform state management (migrating 900+ SSM parameters to eliminate configuration drift), integrating Trivy for container security scanning, and building a full observability stack with Datadog, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry-based tracing to speed up incident response. What kind of remote role I want next: I'm looking for a fully remote Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer role where I can own architecture decisions at a larger scale - not just executing within an existing setup, but shaping how the platform evolves. I'm also drawn to teams actively adopting AI-driven platform engineering, since that's a direction I want to keep growing into.
