I am excited to apply for the VMware-to-Hyper-V Migration Engineer position. With more than 15 years of experience designing, implementing, and migrating enterprise infrastructure environments, I bring extensive expertise in virtualization, disaster recovery, cloud transformation, and large-scale migration programs. Throughout my career, I have successfully led multiple datacenter modernization and migration initiatives involving VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware Cloud Foundation, Veeam Backup & Replication, NetApp storage platforms, and enterprise cloud solutions. Most recently, I have been working as a VMware Solution Architect delivering VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) deployments, migration programs, disaster recovery solutions, and cloud transformation projects for large enterprise customers. A key highlight of my experience includes participating in three VMware-to-Hyper-V migration programs spanning five production environments and approximately 800 virtual machines. In these projects, I was responsible for migration planning, dependency analysis, migration wave execution, change management, cutover coordination, rollback planning, and post-migration validation. I worked closely with infrastructure, networking, storage, and application teams to ensure successful migrations while minimizing downtime and operational risk.
