I am a Software Engineer and recent BSc (Honours) Software Engineering graduate from the University of Zimbabwe, with hands-on experience developing web applications, REST APIs, database-driven systems and AI-powered solutions. My technical experience spans Python, JavaScript, React, Django, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Git, with a strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning and building practical software that solves real-world problems. During my time at TechSys, I contributed to an AI-powered recruitment system and its administrative dashboard, working on frontend development, user interface improvements, testing, debugging and collaboration within a software development team. One of my key projects is a Mobile-Based Semantic Lost and Found Recovery Platform, which uses natural language processing and vector similarity search to identify potential matches between lost and found items. Its matching model achieved an F1-score of 0.8746, with 84.32% Top-3 matching accuracy across 4,399 candidate records. I have also developed AI Recruit, an AI-powered recruitment application designed to support resume analysis and candidate evaluation. I am now seeking remote opportunities as a Junior Software Engineer, Python/Django Developer, Full-Stack Developer, or entry-level AI/ML Engineer. I am particularly interested in teams where I can contribute to real products, solve technical problems, collaborate with experienced developers, and continue growing my engineering skills while delivering reliable, maintainable software.
