VP/CMO | Ex-505 Games, Ex-Konami, $100M+ portfolio; Fractional CMO for DTC brands | Fan of Defense Tech, Higher Ed, Gaming, Sports and Mission Driven Causes
Seeking: Chief Marketing Officer · Vice President of Brand · Head of Marketing · Global Head of Marketing
I'm a global marketing executive with 22+ years leading brand, growth, and go-to-market for consumer companies. I spent the last 11 years at 505 Games, where I was Global VP of Brand Management & Marketing, running a $100M+ portfolio and a 25-person team spread across the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Today I run Twofold Advisory as a Fractional CMO for DTC brands, managing up to $300K/month in paid media and building lifecycle and attribution systems hands-on. A few things I'm proud of: I grew 505's revenue pipeline 200%, from $50M to $150M, while delivering 20+ product launches at 1.8x week-one revenue vs. forecast. And I negotiated over $50M in partnerships with Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Epic Games. I've also been fortunate enough to lead the charge in signing professional athletes, teams and league deals. I'm looking for a full-time VP of Marketing or CMO role. My background is gaming and sports entertainment, and I'd love to stay close to that world, but what I really specialize in is building marketing functions from zero, so I'm equally drawn to startups, defense tech, higher ed, and mission-driven organizations where the function needs to be built, not just run. That includes smaller companies in growth mode: if you've outgrown scrappy marketing and need someone to bring structure without killing speed, that's exactly the work I do at Twofold today. I've led distributed teams across four continents and 10+ time zones since 2015, so remote-first is how I already operate. I'm a player-coach: I set the strategy, but I and (and still do) build campaigns myself.
