Steven Chan

I am a PhD-trained economist and lecturer with over 8 years of combined experience in banking, academic research, and data analysis. My work focuses on fintech, banking performance, and financial systems, with several SSCI-indexed publications. I previously worked at Bank of China, where I was responsible for corporate account management, regulatory compliance, and financial system optimization. I currently serve as a lecturer, teaching courses in financial management, financial markets, and investment analysis, while supervising student research and competitions. Technically, I specialize in econometric analysis using STATA, with strong expertise in panel data models (fixed effects, GMM), mediation analysis, and empirical research design. I have also completed professional work involving STATA package evaluation and academic consulting.
