Steve Lusa

I am an audiovisual technician and audio professional based in Toronto with over six years of experience in live production, professional audio, video, and technical event support; specializing in corporate events, conferences, meetings, galas, trade shows, and other live productions. My work has included setting up, operating and troubleshooting professional audio and video systems. I have extensive hands-on experience with digital audio consoles, microphones, signal flow, audio mixing, Pro Tools, presentation systems, projectors, LED displays, vMix, OBS, and other professional production equipment. I also have experience with video editing and post-production using DaVinci Resolve. Two achievements I am particularly proud of are developing the ability to independently manage the technical side of corporate productions from setup through completion, and becoming highly comfortable troubleshooting unexpected technical and audio issues under time pressure while keeping events running smoothly. My work has required attention to detail, reliability, communication with clients and presenters, and the ability to solve problems quickly. I am now looking for a remote role where I can apply my existing audio, video, technical, and production skills. I am particularly interested in remote audio editing, podcast and dialogue post-production, music mixing/mastering, video editing, and technical support roles. I am also open to learning new software and workflows and transitioning my professional production experience into a long-term remote career.
