I am a full-time small business owner looking to transition into social-impact work through community engagement, communications, and policy-centered roles. I have three years of nonprofit leadership experience and have worked alongside elected officials, media, and community leaders to support grassroots initiatives, secure grants, create policy, manage litigation, coordinate volunteers, drive public testimony, and gather and distribute community feedback in accessible formats for diverse audiences. In 2026, I received the Seattle LGBTQ Commission’s Community Impact Award for my volunteer contributions to Seattle’s LGBTQ community, largely for my work managing a highly public legal case and engaging in direct policy work on local issues affecting LGBTQ populations. I am looking for an entry-level position where I can put the skills I have developed through my time as a dedicated volunteer in local politics and nonprofit work to good use, while further developing my leadership, policy, outreach, and communications skills.
