Shazron Abdullah

I’m a software engineer and technical leader with years of experience building developer platforms, cloud services and open-source technologies, including 10+ years at Adobe. Most recently, I led engineering for Adobe Developer App Builder, working with a globally distributed team across Singapore, India, Switzerland, the US and Canada. My work spans system architecture, developer platforms, serverless services, SDK/CLI ecosystems and production operations. I enjoy working where architecture meets implementation. I’ve designed and reviewed platform architecture, led engineering teams through implementation and product delivery, and worked closely with Product, Design, Security, SRE and DevOps. More recently, I led the team that developed Adobe Developer AI Assistant, a production RAG-based conversational system using Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases and Claude Sonnet to help developers find answers across Adobe’s technical documentation. Open source has also been a significant part of my career. I’m an elected member of the Apache Software Foundation and previously served as Vice President of Apache Cordova and Chair of its Project Management Committee. I’m currently deepening my work in AI through an MS in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) at the University of Colorado Boulder.
