With over two decades of experience in administration, information management, and data analysis within the healthcare sector, I bring a strong combination of technical expertise, analytical ability, and organisational skills. I also possess extensive expertise in data and information management within the public health sector, having progressed from facility-level operations through district structures and ultimately to the Provincial level. This progression has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of data systems, governance, and reporting requirements across all tiers of healthcare delivery. My professional background includes extensive work in strategy, policy planning, and health information management with the Western Cape Department of Health, where I have contributed to the development and reporting of key provincial performance indicators. In my recent role as Administrative Officer in Strategy, Policy and Planning, I design and maintain advanced Microsoft Excel templates that collate, analyse, and report on health targets from facilities across the Western Cape. These datasets support the development of the Annual Performance Plan and guide strategic decision-making across multiple health programmes. My work requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy in data verification, and the ability to present complex information clearly and reliably for management use. Previously, as Assistant Director for Strategy, Policy and Planning, I was responsible for the aggregation and analysis of quantitative data used in major strategic documents. I also led systems development initiatives, including the design of information tools and data modelling frameworks used to forecast health outcomes and support evidence-based planning.
