I am a medical interpreter and humanitarian professional based in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, with more than five years of humanitarian field experience and over three years of direct, in-person Rohingya–English medical interpreting experience. I have supported communication between Rohingya-speaking patients and healthcare professionals during medical consultations, diagnostic interviews, emergency triage, and treatment discussions. I help patients understand medical information while maintaining confidentiality, neutrality, cultural sensitivity, and professional ethics. My experience also includes humanitarian investigations, trauma-informed interviews, victim documentation, research, and sensitive data management. I have worked with humanitarian organizations and supported teams serving vulnerable communities. I speak Rohingya as my native language, have C2-level English proficiency certified by EF SET, and can communicate in Bengali and Hindi. My relevant training includes 40-hour medical interpreting training and HIPAA compliance training. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of the People. I am seeking remote medical interpreting, over-the-phone interpreting (OPI), video remote interpreting (VRI), and humanitarian language support opportunities. I am committed to accurate interpretation, patient privacy, professional communication, and respectful service. I welcome opportunities with organizations that hire qualified remote interpreters based in Bangladesh.
