Refiero Matthew Alimurung

I am a Civil Engineering graduate and Senior Construction Estimator with 5+ years of experience in U.S. commercial construction, specializing in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and ornamental metals. I currently work as an Estimating Team Lead, handling complex projects while supporting, training, and managing a team of estimators. My experience covers the full estimating process, including reviewing architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications, performing detailed quantity takeoffs, preparing cost estimates, analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotations, and developing competitive bids. I have extensive experience with CSI Division 05 (Metals), with additional experience reviewing Division 09 (Finishes) for steel finishes and surface preparation, as well as Division 01 (General Requirements). I am proficient in Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Procore, and PlanHub. Having worked remotely with U.S.-based clients for several years, I am comfortable managing multiple deadlines, communicating with distributed teams, and working independently with minimal supervision. I am now looking for a long-term remote opportunity where I can leverage my construction estimating and engineering background in a broader estimating, preconstruction, cost analysis, or project support role. I am particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to take on greater responsibility while continuing to develop my technical and analytical skills.
