Ratheesh Chandran R

I’m a Senior Web Developer and UI/UX Designer with 20+ years of IT experience and more than 8 years focused on web design and development. I specialize in creating responsive, user-friendly websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Figma, Elementor, ACF, and custom WordPress themes. I also have hands-on experience with technical SEO, website performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, content management, hosting, and ongoing website maintenance. I’m also actively using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot to improve design, development, and content workflows. One of my key achievements was leading the design, development, and maintenance of the Dazeworks website, including building a custom WordPress theme from scratch, implementing ACF/CPT functionality, improving responsive design, optimizing performance, and handling SEO and ongoing content updates. Another achievement was delivering multiple client and organizational websites from design through development, translating Figma designs into responsive WordPress websites while maintaining usability, performance, SEO, and cross-device compatibility. For my next role, I’m looking for a fully remote, long-term position as a Web Developer, WordPress Developer, UI/UX Designer, or Website Manager. I’m particularly interested in roles where I can combine design and development skills, take ownership of websites, collaborate with distributed teams, and contribute to website performance, usability, SEO, and continuous improvement. I’m comfortable working independently, communicating with remote teams, managing priorities, and delivering work within deadlines.
