Raphael Macedo

Brazilian conductor, pianist, and music educator with a strong background in orchestral and choral performance. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Orchestral Conducting from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and completed the Conducting Academy of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), where I refined my artistic and leadership skills at a high professional level. My career combines artistic direction, education, and social impact. I have extensive experience conducting orchestras, choirs, and vocal ensembles, as well as working as an arranger and collaborative pianist. I currently serve as Music Director and Conductor of multiple ensembles, including community and youth projects, with a focus on musical development and cultural engagement. I have performed in major concert settings, including opera productions and symphonic works, collaborating with renowned institutions and participating in festivals and large-scale performances. My work also includes leading social music initiatives, teaching theory, piano, and choral practice, and developing educational programs that integrate music and community transformation. Versatile and committed, I aim to connect artistic excellence with meaningful educational experiences, fostering both musical growth and human development through music.
