Priscillah Mirembe

I'm a GIS Developer and Hydrogeologist based in Kampala, Uganda, with hands-on experience in geospatial application development, GIS workflow automation, and groundwater resource analysis. I hold a BSc in Physical Sciences (Geology & Physics) from Makerere University and am currently completing an MSc in Geology there. At Aquatech Enterprises, I conducted hydrogeological investigations, groundwater quality testing, and aquifer assessments using MODFLOW. On the Kampala Population Equivalent Project, a joint research initiative with EAWAG and Makerere University, I led data cleaning, validation, and visualization for large urban sanitation datasets, building automated Python/Excel workflows and producing publication-quality dashboards. I'm also the developer of HYDRO_SYNC, an open-source platform built on the Tethys Platform that digitizes hydrogeological field data collection — digital forms, GPS capture, and real-time data sync. My core tools are QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, Google Earth Engine, and Python/GeoPandas. I'm looking for a remote GIS development or geospatial data analyst role where I can apply this mix of technical GIS skills and hydrogeology domain knowledge to real environmental or water-resource problems.
