Demand Planner & Supply Chain Analyst | Forecasting, Inventory & Customs across 17 Brands
I plan demand and procurement for an automotive aftermarket distributor in Muscat. The work covers 17 brands and more than 9,000 SKUs from nine countries. I have four years of experience in the GCC and the UK. My work starts at the forecast and continues to the landed shipment. I forecast with a monthly average demand model and a shorter trend ratio. I set safety stock and reorder points for each line. I negotiate minimum order quantities and lead times with suppliers. I select freight forwarders against a gross profit benchmark. I maintain the HS code register for all customs imports. Analysis is my strongest contribution. I built a half-year review from five years of ERP data for our General Manager and CEO. The review showed that a decrease in sales came from margin mix and not from lost demand. The same work found 2,177 lines with no sales in twelve months. It also found the small group of items that gives 80 percent of the gross profit. I found a five-figure double payment to a supplier before the money left the company. Our systems are limited. I built my own tools. My forecast engine decreased manual order time by approximately 70 percent. My price and stock application gives the sales team live data in the field. My operations dashboard uses Python and Flask. My automatic monthly close stops if it finds a discrepancy. I have an MSc in International Marketing Management from Coventry University. I also have a CMI Level 7 qualification and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. I want remote work in demand planning, inventory, or supply chain analysis. Full-time or contract work is acceptable.
