I am a Cyber Security Analyst with experience working across a diverse range of organisations, where I have developed my technical expertise through challenging projects and day-to-day operational responsibilities. I am passionate about continuous learning and applying security best practices to improve an organisation's overall security posture. One of my proudest achievements was contributing to a company-wide initiative to improve cyber security compliance, where I successfully helped the organisation meet and exceed its key cyber security KPIs. To achieve this, I took a focused approach to each KPI, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted action plans. A significant area of focus was Privileged Access Management (PAM). Leveraging an existing PAM solution that was initially used by a small number of administrators, I personally designed and implemented tailored access profiles for each administrative role, ensuring users received only the permissions required to perform their duties in line with the principle of least privilege. Following the successful implementation for internal administrators, I extended the solution to external support teams and third-party vendors who required privileged access to company systems. This initiative strengthened audit compliance, enhanced account security, improved user access governance, and streamlined the management and removal of privileged accounts when personnel left the organisation.
