Paul McDonald

I specialize in enterprise analytics platforms, SAS architecture and administration, modernization, and complex technology environments. I bring more than 20 years of experience working across analytics, data, infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, government contracting, retail, and other enterprise environments. My work sits at the intersection of technology and business operations: understanding complicated systems, finding what actually matters, and turning that complexity into practical solutions. I have supported SAS environments serving more than 1,000 users, operated production platforms running thousands of scheduled jobs, and helped organizations modernize infrastructure while maintaining continuity for critical workloads. Selected results include helping accelerate a $4 billion divestiture by five days, avoiding more than $3 million in interest expense, and reducing a major recurring analytical process from approximately 24 hours to two minutes. I am interested in remote senior, lead, consulting, or architecture roles involving SAS platforms, analytics modernization, enterprise architecture, AI and data solutions, platform engineering, or complex technical transformation.
