I'm a software consultant and full stack developer based in Italy, working remotely. I take projects end to end - requirements analysis, planning, build, release - or join an existing team as the engineer who ships. My core stack is Laravel/PHP and MySQL on the back end, React, Vue.js and Livewire on the front end, and React Native/Expo for mobile apps published on iOS and Android. I've been building software professionally for 18 years, freelance since 2019 under my own studio, Footility. Before that I was a team leader at Alkemy on enterprise B2B portals for Trenord, Very Mobile and WindTre, and for four years I taught PHP/Laravel and Vue.js in an intensive bootcamp (Boolean), growing from TA to Main Teacher. Two things I'm proud of: - Shipping cross-platform apps from codebase to store: a self-drive tourism app with GPS trip diary and risk-zone alerts, a sommelier tasting app and a community media app, with Laravel or Firebase back ends. - Migrating a live property-booking platform (booking funnel, admin, Stripe/PayPal payments) from legacy code to Laravel 11, area by area, while the old site kept serving real users. I work AI-first: I built a Laravel platform that orchestrates LLM coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor) across the production repositories I maintain, which makes me fast at reading and taking over unfamiliar codebases. Next, I'm looking for remote contract or long-term roles where I own the technical side of a product: taking over an existing web or mobile app, bringing it to launch and maintaining it. Clear acceptance criteria, direct communication, async-friendly with regular overlap with US and EU hours.
