I work as a Financial Analyst at a boutique financial advisory firm, where a large part of my daily work is handling data. I enter and consolidate figures from annual reports, financial statements and databases into structured Excel models, clean and standardise raw datasets before analysis, and keep client documentation organised and easy to retrieve. I also prepare valuations, market research summaries and M&A deal materials, always handling confidential information with discretion. I have been in this role since 2021, giving me five years of hands-on experience with financial data, alongside a Master's Degree in Finance from an English-taught programme. Two things I have achieved: 1. I set up and maintained virtual data rooms for M&A transactions, with a clear folder structure and consistent file naming, so clients, buyers and advisors could quickly find what they needed during due diligence. 2. I regularly turned inconsistent data from multiple reports and databases into clean, standardised datasets used directly in company valuations, where a single wrong figure changes the result. Cross-checking every entry against the source became a core habit. Next, I am looking for a remote, part-time role (15–20 hours per week) in data entry/data management, where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. I work independently, reliably meet deadlines, use advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, data validation) and work comfortably in English, Slovenian, Croatian and Serbian.
