Telecommunications Engineer (UCAB, thesis stage) | Networking, SDR & Python | Bilingual EN C1
Seeking: Network Engineer · Support Engineer · Systems Administrator · IT Support Engineer
I'm a Telecommunications Engineer from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB), Venezuela, with all coursework completed and my thesis in progress: a telecommunications system linking a stratospheric balloon to a ground station. At the Bolivarian Space Activities Agency (ABAE), working remotely with a distributed team, I helped build a software-defined radio communications system with USRP B210, GNU Radio and Python, and implemented a stable BPSK link with digital demodulation. My hands-on skills include static and dynamic routing (CCNA 1), traffic analysis with Wireshark, fiber optics and FTTx networks, ICS/OT cybersecurity (CISA courses), Linux and Python. I'm also co-founder and CIO of UbiVe, an indoor-navigation startup that won INNOVA UCAB and took 2nd place in the Acelera UCAB–ItalBank accelerator. I've taught Excel and robotics, so I document clearly and explain technical topics well, and I collaborated online with an international team through the SUNY COIL program. I'm bilingual (English C1) and looking for a remote entry-level role in network engineering, NOC operations or technical support, where I can keep growing toward CCNA/CCNP. I can start immediately and have a flexible schedule.
