I'm a software engineer with over five years of commercial experience building production systems in C#, .NET, Python, and Unity 3D - from REST APIs and cloud integrations on Azure to AI pipelines and real-time 3D simulations. Most recently I was at AM Industries LLC in the UAE, where I built software that ran in actual operational environments for defence and industrial clients. Not prototypes - real systems, with real users, where reliability actually mattered. I've just completed an MSc in AI and Data Science at the University of Hull (2026), which added machine learning, computer vision, and large-scale data pipelines to a stack that was already heavily C# and cloud-focused. My dissertation involved building an end-to-end ML pipeline on aviation sensor data using PyTorch and Azure. On the remote side: I've worked across the UAE and UK, I'm comfortable with async collaboration and documentation-first engineering, and I write clean, well-documented code as a habit rather than an afterthought. I work well independently, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical people, and I take ownership of whatever I'm assigned rather than waiting to be managed. I'm looking for a remote software engineering role - ideally backend or full-stack - where the work is substantive and the team takes engineering quality seriously. C#/.NET is my core, but I'm comfortable picking up new stacks when the role calls for it.
