I’m a Senior Android Engineer. I build and ship production mobile apps in Kotlin — Jetpack Compose, MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture, REST integration, Room, Firebase, unit testing, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Fastlane. I also build Android and iOS together from one Kotlin Multiplatform codebase with Compose Multiplatform, and work in Flutter where a project calls for it. Six years, most of it as the only engineer on the product: architecture, every screen, the store release, and the client conversations in between. I went from Android Developer to Team Lead at BrainX Technologies, where I was sole engineer on seven client products, introduced Jetpack Compose to the team, and mentored eight junior engineers through code review. Two I’d point to first: Baritastic — I led four to five engineers consolidating a bariatric-care app with over a million downloads off two ageing native codebases (Java and Objective-C) onto one. No feature changed. Crash-free sessions rose from 65% to 98% and the install dropped from 150MB to 60MB. ONEai Health — as primary Android engineer on a live clinical monitoring product, I converged three data sources (a Bluetooth smart ring, Android Health Connect, and manual entry) onto one per-vital model, then grew it to 17 health vitals across roughly 75 screens with Health Connect sync, a structured daily diary and an AI chatbot. Live on the App Store and Play Store, now maintained by the client’s own team. What I’m looking for: a remote Senior Android, Senior Mobile, or Kotlin Multiplatform role where I own features end to end — and selective freelance work, whether that’s a new build, a KMP migration, or taking over an app that needs stabilising.
