I have spent most of my adult life working in different areas of healthcare. In the last 5 years, my roles have focused heavily on full cycle recruitment. That includes screening applications, calling candidates for phone screens, conducting interviews, fining the right person for the job and not just a body, making offers, and onboarding training. At this stage in my life and as I look for my next role, I would like to focus on the recruiting aspect versus other staffing responsibilities that came with my previous positions. Other tasks I had been doing included scheduling, shift coverage, state and federal compliance, and an array of random projects. My supervisor at Catholic Charities was always amazed as she would say, “I bring you a messy ‘dumpster fire,’ and you take it with a smile, clean it up correctly, and hand it back to me wrapped with a pretty bow.”
