Senior frontend engineer and frontend-focused full-stack engineer with 13+ years of experience, 8+ of them leading teams. My core is TypeScript, React and Next.js; behind the UI I am comfortable owning Node.js/NestJS services, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes and Azure/AWS, so I can ship a feature end to end without waiting on another team. Most recently I architected the ground-up rebuild of a UK commodity-trading platform: a 98-component React design system (design tokens, Storybook, automated accessibility gates) and the trading front end on top of 13 NestJS microservices, delivered with GitOps on Kubernetes — from an empty repository to a live multi-tenant environment in four months. Earlier: JavaScript Tech Lead at Levi9 (Next.js micro-frontends for e-commerce and payments, Angular/NgRx, AWS/Azure) and lead frontend engineer in fintech. I work AI-natively: a governed Claude Code workflow (spec → failing tests → implement → independent verification) that sustained ~780 merged PRs in 7 months with full review discipline, plus a self-healing production agent built on the Claude Agent SDK. What I am best at: turning a vague product goal into a clean, tested, accessible React front end; design systems and micro-frontend architecture; modernising legacy front ends without stopping delivery; and raising a team's bar through reviews, conventions and CI (sharded Playwright, Nx build caching).
