Mehedi Hasan Rakib

I started my journey in web development in 2022 without a traditional computer science background. I had to learn most things by myself—through documentation, real projects, mistakes, and a lot of late nights trying to understand why something worked on my machine but not in production. Over the years, I’ve grown from focusing mainly on frontend development into a product-focused engineer who can work across the stack. My strongest experience is with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Laravel, PHP, and MySQL. I enjoy turning ideas into real products, from designing responsive interfaces to building APIs, integrating databases, deploying applications, and fixing the problems that appear after launch. I’ve worked on e-commerce platforms, Shopify applications, mobile applications with React Native, and multiple production websites. One of the things I’m most proud of is taking ownership of features beyond just writing UI code—thinking about performance, SEO, scalability, deployment, analytics, and the actual experience of the people using the product. My journey hasn’t been perfectly planned, and that’s what makes it meaningful to me. I learned by building, breaking, debugging, and starting again. Every production issue, difficult deployment, unfamiliar technology, and tight deadline has made me a better engineer. Now, I’m looking for a remote opportunity where I can work with a strong engineering team, contribute to real products, take ownership of meaningful problems, and continue growing. I’m especially interested in teams that value communication, ownership, clean engineering, and continuous learning. I may not have followed the traditional path into software engineering, but I’ve built my career by consistently showing up, learning, and shipping.
