I am a Regional Safety Manager for Amazon, a role I have held since 2022. I have over 15 years experience in the field. I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, and I hold a PhD in Occupational Risk Management. I lead environmental health and safety across a portfolio of data center sites, partnering with construction and operations teams to protect builders and drive a proactive safety culture. Two achievements I am most proud of: First, I built and trained three separate teams of Regional Safety Engineers from the ground up. One team supports existing data center operations, a second stood up to support new MLZ launches, and a third I am currently building to support Texas launches. Each team was scoped, hired, and trained to match the distinct demands of its portfolio, giving the business dedicated safety coverage that scales with growth. Second, I delivered a 42% reduction in Total Recordable Incident Rate through a targeted safety strategy focused on laceration prevention. By identifying lacerations as the primary injury driver and concentrating resources there, I turned a data-driven diagnosis into a measurable, sustained improvement in worker safety. For my next role, I am looking for a remote-based EHS or Risk leadership position. I am willing to travel as needed to support sites and teams. I want to keep building and leading safety programs at a regional or broader scope, where I can apply my experience developing high-performing teams and driving measurable risk reduction across a growing operation.
