International Trade & Operations Analyst | Financial Audit Background, Trilingual (EN/ES/PT)
Seeking: Business Analyst · Logistics/Supply Chain Coordinator · Business Development Associate · Researcher Analyst
I'm an International Relations student based in Brazil, working toward a career in international trade, operations, and research. My focus throughout my studies has been on foreign trade and international political economy, and I'm especially interested in how logistics, ESG, and cross-border business intersect at multinational companies. Over the past year at Meliá Hotels International, I've handled daily financial audits and billing reconciliation for an operation averaging 120 occupied rooms per night, working across multiple OTA channels (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda) and hotel management systems, and generating roughly $250/month in additional revenue through consultative guest interactions. That role has sharpened my attention to detail, my ability to make sound decisions under pressure, and my comfort working with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, in both Portuguese and English. In parallel, as a researcher and content producer for the International Trade League at PUC-Rio, I write analyses on international trade, economic policy, and global markets, including a paper on how the Port of Singapore uses infrastructure as an instrument of power and diplomacy. I'm fluent in English, conversational in Spanish, and have basic French, and I completed leadership training through Harvard's Aspire Leaders Program. I'm now looking for a remote role in international trade, operations, or research/content, somewhere that values financial precision as much as analytical thinking, and where I can keep growing into a fully corporate, international career.
