Software Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering | C++, Python, MATLAB | Data visualization, Signal processing, Control systems, Machine learning
I am a Software Development Engineer with an MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from EPFL and over four years of hands-on experience spanning software architecture, machine learning, and signal processing. Currently, at Imperix Ltd., I build the UI and backend architecture of the Imperix Cockpit monitoring program using C++ and the Qt framework. I also develop Automated Code Generation libraries for programming power electronics controllers utilizing MATLAB Simulink and PLECS. My key achievements include spearheading the Imperix Insider Program, where I lead a closed beta program and collaborate across software, firmware, and hardware teams to translate user feedback into actionable product insights. Additionally, I am developing a System Identification Toolbox that enables users to estimate the impedance or transfer function of their power electronics systems. Previously, I engineered a novel deep learning-based alarm system using Python and PyTorch to monitor industry assets via Distributed Acoustic Sensors (DAS). I am seeking a mid-level software engineering or R&D role at a forward-thinking product company where I can take full ownership of complex, cross-functional features end-to-end. I am highly adaptable, fluent in bridging the gap between advanced theoretical research and practical software deployment, and I am looking for a fully remote position where I can thrive in an async-first team environment.
