Maryam Mohamed

I am a native Arabic speaker, fluent in English, and hold an HSK 5 certificate in Chinese. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature, with English as my second language. In 2024, I was awarded a scholarship to study at Nanjing University in China. I have a strong passion for translation and subtitling. I’ve worked on several personal and academic projects involving subtitle translation between Arabic, Chinese, and English. These experiences have helped me develop solid skills in subtitling, time-coding, and linguistic adaptation across languages and cultures. I have also worked as a freelance translator for independent clients. I bring with me transferable skills such as precision, dedication, and cross-cultural communication. I am currently seeking opportunities in the fields of translation and media localization.
