Martin Contreras

I am a Full-Stack Developer specializing in Shopify, Ecommerce, AI, and CRO solutions, with 8 years of experience building and optimizing digital products. Over the last 3 years, I have focused heavily on Shopify development, including headless storefronts with Hydrogen, Storefront API, React, Remix, and Node.js, as well as custom Shopify apps, theme development, integrations, and conversion-focused improvements. Two achievements I am proud of are building scalable Shopify solutions for DTC and B2B brands, including custom pricing logic, supplier catalog integrations, inventory/order workflows, and performance improvements. I have also helped ecommerce teams increase flexibility and conversion rates by creating custom Shopify themes, reusable Liquid sections, CRO experiments, and automation workflows using Shopify Functions and Flow. I am looking for a remote role where I can combine my Shopify development, ecommerce architecture, and CRO experience to build high-performing online stores and products. I enjoy working with teams that value ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, whether as a Shopify Developer, Senior Frontend Engineer, Ecommerce Engineer, or Technical Lead.
