Mark Kimathi

I’m a Senior Product Designer with 9+ years of experience designing digital products across fintech, government, enterprise, and consumer technology. I specialize in turning complex workflows and systems into simple, intuitive experiences that users can understand and trust. My experience spans fintech products including wallets, payments, KYC, remittances, cards, and financial dashboards, as well as large-scale platforms such as eCitizen. I’ve worked across the full product design lifecycle, from research, journey mapping, information architecture, and prototyping to high-fidelity UI, design systems, developer handoff, and implementation. I’m an AI-native designer who actively uses AI throughout my workflow to explore ideas, accelerate research and iteration, prototype experiences, generate and refine interfaces, and bridge the gap between design and development.
