Lucía Castro

I am a Senior Architect and Interior Designer with 18 years of experience working on residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use projects. I have worked with international teams, including Gensler, and for the past seven years I have led my own architecture and interior design practice in Costa Rica. Throughout my career, I have developed strong skills in project coordination, client communication, organization, design, documentation, and working with multidisciplinary teams. I am used to managing several tasks at the same time, coordinating different people, solving problems, and making sure projects move forward. Two important achievements in my career are building my own practice, LCO+AID, and successfully leading more than 20 residential projects from the first design ideas through construction. I am also proud of my international experience with Gensler, where I worked with teams in different countries and developed strong skills in Revit, documentation, coordination, and project delivery. For my next remote role, I am looking for a part-time position where I can use my experience in project coordination, administration, client communication, operations, or creative support. I am open to working outside architecture and would be happy to learn new areas. I am looking for a flexible remote position where I can contribute my experience, reliability, organization, and problem-solving skills while continuing to develop my own practice.
