I am an Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems design and electrical infrastructure for marine and offshore applications. My work includes electrical load analysis, power distribution, single-line diagrams, equipment sizing, emergency/backup power systems, cable sizing, voltage-drop analysis, and electrical system layouts. I currently support shipboard electrical power distribution projects for commercial and industrial marine vessels. I have about 3 years of professional engineering experience, including my current role in marine electrical engineering and previous experience in validation and verification of power and automation products. Two key achievements I am proud of are contributing to the design and development of shipboard electrical power distribution systems, including load analysis, power balance, distribution layouts, and coordination with vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams; and developing system-level validation and automated testing processes for power and automation products using Java, Selenium, and Jenkins. For my next remote role, I am looking for an Electrical/Power Systems Engineering position where I can apply my experience in electrical system design, power distribution, load analysis, and engineering documentation. I am particularly interested in roles involving power systems, electrical infrastructure, energy systems, or marine/offshore engineering, with opportunities to take on greater technical responsibility and continue developing my engineering expertise.
