Lizel Graaff

I am a Senior PHP Developer with over 11 years of commercial experience developing, maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise web applications. My main experience is with PHP, Laminas (Zend Framework), MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Twig, Doctrine ORM and Linux. I have worked extensively on both eCommerce and healthcare applications, implementing new functionality, integrating APIs and resolving production issues. Two achievements I’m particularly proud of are contributing to and maintaining large-scale eCommerce applications at Kerridge Commercial Systems, where I worked on new functionality and production issues, and developing and supporting healthcare applications at Universal Healthcare, including patient management, appointment scheduling, questionnaires and reporting functionality. For my next remote role, I’m looking for a PHP-focused Software Developer or Senior PHP Developer position where I can use my existing experience while continuing to learn and grow. I enjoy working with established applications, solving problems and implementing practical solutions. I’m comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with developers, QA and other stakeholders, and I’m open to working with international teams across different time zones.
