I am an Accounts Payable Lead at Light and Wonder, a leading company in the gaming industry. With over 6 years of experience in my role within the company, I have developed strong competencies in Oracle Applications, More4Apps, and other internal systems and tools that enable me to, respond to business and customer inquiries timely and within 95% of the required SLAs; process, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices, and statements; remit payments efficiently and accurately; and use my knowledge developed within my role to create SOPs. I have also contributed to the optimization of the company's financial transactions and systems by working with senior managers, directors, and IT to implement an automated payment process for batching payments weekly, which aided in reducing the manual payment process by and exceeding 50%. This process is now being expanded Globally within the company, and has resulted in improved forecasting, reduced errors, and increased productivity. I enjoy collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data, and assist with providing payment forecasts weekly to our Treasury department.
