Hands-on software engineer and builder with 15+ years across backend, cloud infrastructure and process automation, now focused on shipping AI applications. I have a consistent record of turning manual, inefficient workflows into automated, measurable improvements — from a marketing platform that frees ~20 hours/week, to a unit-trust fund analyzer that replaces ~72 hours/month of manual compilation. My recent work centres on agentic LLM tooling, custom MCP servers, full-stack TypeScript/Node apps and Python data pipelines, with a strong slant toward the financial-services domain (unit-trust analytics, SC-Malaysia / FIMM compliance). On the engineering side I bring deep Java and Python experience — Spring Boot, high-throughput APIs, JVM/GC tuning — plus production cloud and DevOps on AWS and Google Cloud (Terraform, CI/CD, Docker). After a career that grew from hands-on engineering into senior leadership (Head of Engineering, then Head of HR & Operations), this is a deliberate return to building.
