I build and harden backend systems that move real money reconciliation engines, wallet ledgers, and payment APIs where a bug means lost funds, not just a failed test. Recently I audited a production payment API end-to-end and found 17 exploitable issues (race conditions, auth gaps, rounding errors) before they became incidents, then rebuilt the refund logic to be atomic and idempotent. I work well with distributed teams across US/UK/EU time zones and I'm comfortable owning a system from schema design through compliance requirements like UKGC.
