Keren Okuvuru

I am a marketing, communications, events and entrepreneurship professional with 10+ years of experience working across businesses, NGOs, development organisations, healthcare, hospitality and professional services. I am the Founder and Managing Partner of The Brand Factory Uganda, a marketing and communications company I established in 2018. My work cuts across marketing and communications strategy, brand development, social media, content creation and review, digital marketing, events, client relationships, business development and project coordination. I have led or developed 15+ marketing and communications strategies, worked across 100+ projects, managed communications for multiple brands and coordinated events, training programmes and stakeholder activities involving businesses, international organisations, government institutions and development partners. Entrepreneurship has also given me practical experience beyond marketing. I have managed clients, teams, suppliers, budgets, business development, operations and competing priorities, and I am comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. I am currently based in Groningen, Netherlands, and am looking for remote opportunities in marketing, communications, content, community, events, client engagement, project coordination and related areas. I am open to full-time, part-time, contract and freelance opportunities and enjoy working with diverse, international teams.
