As a Supply Chain and Operations professional,I have spent over seven years building and running operations across e-commerce, FMCG, and water logistics, most recently as Operations Lead at PowWater Ltd, where I plan and coordinate daily activity across dispatch, inventory, procurement, and delivery for a fast-growing last-mile network. At PowWater, I lead a team of over 90 people and own live operations, geofence expansion, and fleet/3PL management. I scaled our fleet 6x, from 13 to 80 trucks, while cutting average delivery time by 57% and delivery distance by 49%, and I have sustained a 99% order fulfilment rate while launching five new geofences outside Nairobi. Building the SOPs, checklists, and workflows that made that growth manageable, rather than chaotic, has been a core part of the job, along with monitoring staff productivity, attendance, and adherence to procedure across the team. Before PowWater, as Supply Chain Officer at Twiga Foods, I directed fleet, labor, and warehouse operations across an entire county, supervising site supervisors and MHE operators while delivering 100% OTIF dispatch through tighter demand forecasting and inventory governance. I also cut monthly fuel costs by 29% by introducing a weekly fueling plan and fleet efficiency targets, and reduced fleet size by 25% through dynamic routing without giving up service levels. Earlier roles at Glovo Kenya and Jumia Kenya gave me hands-on experience with real-time fleet coordination, supplier and vendor management, receiving and dispatch, stock counts, and 5S audits, so I understand operations from the warehouse floor up through network-level planning. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, and I am comfortable working across WMS, OMS, QMS, and HMT systems to turn operational data into decisions.
